Domination—St. George’s Topples Rival Vancouver College

This past Tuesday, January 30th, the Saints vs Vancouver College series took place. The largest high school basketball rivalry in British Columbia got off to a fantastic start with the 8th grade game—a game that Saints eventually won. The 9th grade and Junior Varsity games did not go quite as planned with Vancouver College taking both. Finally, it was time for the main event: the Varsity game.

It wasn’t close. Saints dominated from the start, winning decisively 98-82. Kevin Zhong ’24 poured in 31 points while Dominic Aquino ’24 and Dorian Glogovac ’23 both contributed with 18 points each.

Make sure to come out to the away game next Thursday to support the players!
