Friday’s cafeteria magic

In Ms. Gin’s Journalism 12 class, students had the unique opportunity to refine their photography skills when receiving guidance from Desy Chang, a professional photographer and videographer.

During the visit, students got a hands-on experience capturing images of Sodexo’s lunch while also receiving valuable tips from Desy on lighting and composition. Desy managed to make pulled pork, cauliflower, and potato wedges look pretty appetizing!

This experience helped students improve their understanding of photography and practice their skills for when they go to restaurants and take photos themselves. Stay tuned for more food photos and reviews from our upcoming lunch trip to Dine Out Vancouver, an annual food festival. Thank you, Desy, for sharing your stories, expertise, and tips with The Echo!
