Thursday, November 30, 2023—In preparation for their upcoming food review unit, the Journalism 12 class visited La Ruota Pizzeria. With a food blogger on the way in the coming months, the boys were challenged to photograph their pizza in creative and cool ways (before devouring it).

The trip was a great way for the boys to practice their food photography skills. Many found it challenging to both take an enticing photo and also to resist the temptation to eat their pizza and forget about the photo altogether.

Nothing but good reviews came from the boys after having devoured their pizzas. Notably Richard Wang 24′ went back to buy another slice after having already taken down four slices.

Overall the trip was a great experience and enjoyed by all. It offered a sneak peek into the world of food blogging, and the true skill and willpower it takes to excel in this industry. The boys are now excited to see what tips an actual food blogger could offer for future success in this field.

Onto the next delicious adventure!
