Eric Jin Cheng is currently a Grade 10 student at Crofton House School in the Discovery Program and is set to graduate in 2017. He joined the Saints community in Grade 3 and plans to stay until Grade 12. In his spare time, Eric likes to play tennis, spar in taekwondo, drink coffee, paint, listen to music, camp outdoors and “chill out” with his friends. Peers describe him as easy-going, humorous, adventurous and willing. Furthermore, Eric wants to pursue a career in CSIS. As an active volunteer, Eric donates his time (whenever it allows) to the UBC Tennis Centre, coaching athletes that are from children to 13 year olds, and volunteering at the Union Gospel Mission Soup Kitchen. Through these endeavours, Eric loves to know that he is making a positive difference in others’ lives. In athletics, he is currently on the Varsity Tennis team. In addition, Eric enjoys swimming, working out, cycling, running, and taekwondo. Eric looks forward to another fantastic year at Crofton House School.
