Saints Expo 2016 Photo Gallery
On the evening of March 8th, members of the Saints art community, as well as student artists and art fans from Crofton, York, WPGA, and LFA gathered in the Great Hall and Theatre for the second annual Saints Expo night. Saints Expo is an evening to celebrate all forms of student art in a single night.
The evening began with an art gallery reception in the Great Hall, where students had the opportunity to view each others’ works, as well as enjoy some casual conversation. There was also music to listen to thanks to the Saints Jazz Trio, and some delicious food to munch on, and fruity drinks to sip on. There was even a chocolate fountain, thanks to Arts and Culture Prefect Monie Tutt.
At around 7pm, attendees headed into the Theatre for the performance portion of the evening. A wide array of talents were showcased from all schools involved. There was everything from classical piano to comical poetry, short film to ukulele, and anything and everything in between. Both those performing and those in the crowd had a fun filled night, in what was an extremely enjoyable, relaxed community atmosphere. All in all, Saints Expo was a massive success for the second year in a row, and is poised to stay that way for years to come.
