Into the Woods: Bird Point Art Retreat

For many boys, this may have meant spending the weekend in bed, but for the newly minted Seniors of Mr. O’Connor’s Drawing and Painting 12 class, this meant heading off for the class’ annual retreat at Bird Point.
Located up the Sechelt Inlet on the Sunshine Coast, Bird Point is only accessible by water taxi or floatplane, which makes it the perfect place for a secluded, nature filled artistic getaway.

Each day, students had the opportunity to draw and paint to their heart’s content, while taking in the beautiful scenery for future creative inspiration.
