Jacky is punctuating his high school journey with Journalism! Throughout his life, Jacky has always been an avid storyteller—whether that be through writing poetry, experimenting in the art studio, or curating the school’s next Opus edition. He hopes to shine a light on the school’s creative corners.

His favourite authors are Hanif Abdurraqib, Ocean Vuong, R. F. Kuang, and Diana K. Nguyen, though his literary loyalties are happily divided among many more. His work, if curious, can be found through the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards, Shō Poetry Journal, the League of Canadian Poets, Heimat Review, and elsewhere.

Also, Jacky loves his friends (especially Richard and Eric).
