On Thursday, the school recognized various students for their achievements in music, theater, and the visual arts with the Rigg Scholarship. Some students also received the Honorary Rigg Scholar award for their continued dedication to the arts in their senior year.

After the ceremony, the Grade 12 students who were recognized were treated to a Rigg luncheon held inside the grad lounge. The luncheon was attended by teachers, administrative staff, and students; the atmosphere was excellent, and the event as a whole was remarkable. Sodexo set up a buffet-style selection of foods, which were well received.

“The food was great, but it was also nice talking to the other Riggs over a meal,” says Jack Zhang ‘24, a music Rigg himself.

Students and teachers from one arts department had the chance to talk to those from other departments. Overall, it was a very successful bonding event. Again, congratulations to all the Rigg and Honorary Rigg Scholars!
