Last Day of School Highlights

On December 20th, St. George’s School welcomed its last day of instruction in 2018, and many members of the school were excited about the three-week break.

The majority of the Saints community planned to spend their break travelling outside of the country to places such as Mexico, United States, and even China.

”I am so excited to see my family members and friends in China because this is my first time back in five years,” said Mark (grade 12 student).

Although many individuals were travelling to exotic places, some were looking forward to a restful break in Vancouver.

“I am looking forward to going to Whistler over the weekend for some snowshoeing, hanging out with family, sleeping and catching up on Netflix”.

Some students were spending their winter break to improve on basketball skills for the upcoming basketball season and the Saints – VC series.

One student claimed, “I am about to wake up at 6 AM every morning and grind for four hours every day to improve and become the best player on the team”.

Even though winter break is unfortunately over, students are expected to work hard for the upcoming eight weeks. Furthermore, the Saints community is looking forward to spring break.
