“Debate is the verbal version of rugby” – Andrew Campbell

This November, Saints sent six boys to British Columbia Public Speaking hosted by Mulgrave School in West Vancouver. With a grad dominated team, this was the last speaking competition for most boys on the team. The finality of it in mind, the oritors fought harder than ever and had an incredible and epic experience during their term break.  Categories ranged from debate to impromptu and persuasive speaking with the contest lasting two days. However, the competition was announced just two weeks prior and the boys were pushed to work hard and finish preparing under brutal pressure. Despite the harsh conditions the boys came through taking home medals an amazing final run together.
