Calling all noodle lovers! On Wednesday, January 30, the Local Issues arm of GPACS will be hosting an instant noodle fundraiser for the Salvation Army. Please join us in the Upper Great Hall for a lunch-time feast of delicious Ramen. $2.50 will buy you a large noodle bowl, and for only a dollar more you can make that into a pop combo!
Proceeds from this important fundraiser will go to providing food for the Salvation Army’s daily Feeding Line in the Downtown Eastside. Fifteen of our GPACS members will be traveling to the soup kitchen in late February to volunteer in this crucial ministry. The Salvation Army provides over 400 hot lunch on a daily basis, and GPACS is hoping to raise enough funds to pay for the cost of the food needed for one single day (approximately $700). Please come out and show your support for those less fortunate.
