Roland Huang, Staff Writer
Roland is currently a Grade 10 student at the school and he works as the staff writer. This is his first year in journalism and is excited to start out, learn, and develop. His passions in sports include water polo, triathlon, and especially swimming. At school his favourite classes are English and PE. In addition he is in the school band, and various clubs. Roland is a very accomplished swimmer competing at the provincial level. As well as swimming and school he likes to hang-out with friends, fooling around and doing stupid dares. Word... this is gonna be a chill year!
Merritt Loh
Merritt Loh, Sports Editor
Whether your interests are on the field or in the gym, Merritt is your primary source for everything about St. George’s sports. Merritt’s passion is found on the sidelines - from there he can always be the first to get to the story. His hard work and dedication to his articles are what leave him satisfied at night.  Knowing that readers like you are enjoying his work as much as he is writing for you is priceless to him. For Merritt it all started as a young boy, he always felt that he could be better at informing sports news to the people than the gentlemen on Sportscentre. Merritt has spent years in the dark, waiting for his opportunity to showcase his fine-tuned and spectacular journalistic skills for all of you. Finally it's here, are you ready?
Tristan Taylor
Tristan Taylor, Staff Writer
Tristan Taylor is originally from Toronto, Ontario, but he moved to Vancouver when he was four years old. He currently attends St.Georges and is in his grade eleven year. Tristan has a wide variety of interests including rap battling, beatboxing and acting. Besides having hobbies in entertainment, Tristan one day hopes to become a detective for the Calgary Police Force. Detective work interests Tristan as he has a strong passion for justice. Tristan has an interest in English and especially enjoys his English eleven courses. Outside of school, Tristan pursues entrepreneurial feats by being a middle man in a clothing company. On weekends, Tristan enjoys shooting pool downtown with close friends. Things Tristan wishes to improve on this year are his GPA and his leadership role in the school. Tristan strongly believes that "there's always something else waiting around the corner."  Believing in this helps him never stay down for long.
