This school year, the Senior School has adopted a new technology policy that restricts the use of laptops and tablets outside of class time. Devices may only be used for academic purposes in the Learning Commons or a designated classroom on the second floor of the Tang building. Students may not use their devices for gaming, and staff monitor these spaces to ensure productivity. With limited spaces where students may work, the Learning Commons has quickly become a bustling study hub. Students rush to fill its tables, couches, and chairs between classes as they complete assignments and prepare for upcoming tests.
