Commencement of Harker Hall Peer Mentoring Program “Successful”
On September 17th, a group of Harker Hall students went to Lockdown Escape in Richmond for an afternoon of entertainment.
Harker Hall introduced its Peer Mentorship program three years ago, and it gives new students an opportunity to make their transition into boarding a much smoother experience. Escape Room was the first activity of the year for the mentors and mentees of Harker Hall to get together and enjoy themselves. Overall, it was a very positive experience; Peer Mentorship Coordinator Jerry Ding said it was “a successful start to the Peer Mentorship program this year…the mentors and mentees worked together and strengthened their bonds.”
