Sustainability Fair: Second Year of Success
On February 23rd, St. George’s School hosted the second annual Sustainability Fair. Representatives from various organisations, notably UBC Electric Car Club, Oceanwise, and Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup, introduced some environmental quagmires and offered possible solutions to them. With the effort of all contributors and support from all participants, the event succeeded in raising awareness of environmental protection to create a better living place for the next generation. “This Sustainability Fair brings people together to showcase what they are doing to better sustain the environment, and can inspire students to act upon their initiatives to make change,” commented the prefect of Environmental Stewardship Louie Wu (12), who helped organise this Fair.
