Harker Hall’s Unusual Intramural
The quarter finals of Harker Hall’s latest intramural took place this past Thursday. Although traditional intramurals such as dodgeball, hockey and water polo continue to take place throughout the year, more unusual sports such as chess are being added to encourage participation.
Round robins (where each competitor plays against every other player) have taken place over the course of February, and the playoffs are now down to Frank Sandoval, Chris Li and James Schoenecker.
By the end of the night, Frank had won both his games against Jeremy Hui and Carson Feser in the semi-finals. However, the finals will only take place after Spring Break, where Carson and James will soon face off for 3rd and 4th place, and Frank Sandoval will play the winner of a match between Racan and Chris Li.
