This Wednesday, the Saints prefect team headed to York House School to test out a trial co-ed cooking class. For two hours the students worked with a professional chef to learn cooking tips and produce their own dishes.
In teams of four, two York students and two Saints students, the groups sliced, simmered, and seasoned their way to creating different pasta dishes. One group made a Rose and vegetable sauce with pan seared chicken breast while another group cooked a ground beef and Bolognese sauce.
The atmosphere was electric with the students blasting pop music and singing while they cooked, clearly enjoying this opportunity to forge bonds between the two schools. After they finished cooking, everyone sat down for a delicious meal! This initiative was a resounding success and will hopefully be opened to the rest of the student body as a new co-curricular soon!
