Summit Club’s Inaugural 2014/15 Trip
The St. George’s Summit Club, the club component of the school’s Outdoor Education department, will be embarking on their first trip of the 2014/2015 school year in just a few week. Boys from all grades are welcome to participate in the trip to Golden Ears Provincial Park, which will run from November 14th to 16th. This hiking trip will be more geared to less experienced outdoorsmen looking to sharpen their skills in areas such as campcraft and backpacking technique. The trip will have a minimal registration fee, but boys must have the proper equipment for hiking, including boots and a backpack.
Boys who are interested should visit the Outdoor Education office, or email Ms. Tutsch at [email protected]. Consent forms are due November 3rd, and there will be a pre-trip information meeting on November 10th.
