Grade 8 Rugby Team Heads Down to Kelowna
On October 14, 2016 the grade 8 rugby team traveled to Kelowna to play in two rugby games. On Friday morning the boys hopped on a bus as they headed down to Kelowna to play the first of two games.
The grade 8s had defeated St. Michael’s University in their last game before the trip.
“The team had a great performance on Thursday, October 13, against St. Michael’s University School and came away with a comprehensive win (41-20). Last weekend the boys travelled to Kelowna to play 2 games against local teams. They came away with a lot of positives and will use this experience and the momentum to perform against Shawnigan Lake School on Saturday, October 22,” Matteo Aquilini said at a full school assembly on October 17th.
The boy travelled to Shawnigan Lake after a successful trip in Kelowna defeating Shawnigan 55-0.
