Last Saturday, on November 7^th, the Cross Country team participated in the Provincial race at Jericho. Selected junior and senior students ran for St. George’s School in this race. The school’s best result came from Roberto Pelayo Mazzone – who finished 18^th place in the Senior race.  Overall, Saints runners should be congratulated for their results: the Juniors finished 8^th overall and the Seniors finished 7^th overall. 

November 7th proved to be one of the rainiest days this year. The soil was muddy and it was a cold day in general. “By the last lap, I felt like I was paralyzed; I couldn’t feel any movement in my body,” is how Roberto Pelayo Mazzone (11) described the condition. However, the boys pushed themselves through the tough conditions and earned their spots in the final ranking.
