ONE Campaign starts the school year with new updates to the Junior School
The ONE Campaign Committee, led by the Board of Directors and Advancement Department at St. George’s School, has been hard at work towards its goal of raising $40,000,000 in support of the Campus Master Plan. So far, almost 80% of this goal has been raised, which amounts to $30,977,116. In June, the Board of Directors approved an upgrade to the Grade 5 and 6 classrooms using funds from the ONE Campaign which was completed over the summer. This enhancement “will allow enhanced learning, collaboration, project-based learning, and individualized instruction” (ONE Campaign Newsletter). According to Adrienne Davidson, the Director of Advancement and ONE Campaign Committee member, “We are very excited to see the extraordinary progress on the ONE fundraising campaign! The fact that so many families and Georgians have made gifts to St. George’s School to help us build much-needed new facilities on both campuses is indicative of the confidence and trust they have in the School. But it also speaks to the excellence of both our teachers and our students, without whom we would not be seeing such a successful campaign result.”

Thanks Jay for this great write up. Thanks you also to all those families and faculty and staff who have supported our efforts so far. We can’t wait for the new neighbourhoods in the Junior School to be unveiled after Thanksgiving. We are in an exciting time for the school where we have the possibility of renewing our physical spaces for generations to come. Let’s all work towards 100% participation for the future of the school.
