Family2Family Welcome Program

The St. George’s Parents Association recently began an initiative to help new families transition into life at St. George’s.

 

The Family2Family Welcome Program will begin in September 2014, and families will be matched up at the beginning of summer.

 

Incoming students and their families who sign up are assigned a “Welcoming Family”, who will help answer any questions about the School and curriculum. The program ensures that new students will at least have a “familiar face when school starts in the fall”.

 

Volunteer families consist of cohorts of current students, who are encouraged to make arrangements to acquaint themselves to their partnered families over the summer through phone, meet-ups, or at the Welcome Back BBQ.
