February 13, 2024: We were introduced to our new Deputy Head of School Ms. Weston. We sat down to learn more about her new role as Deputy Head of School, her background, and goals/advice for saints. Overall, it was insightful and fun to interview Ms. Weston who was excited to share with us. Don’t be afraid to greet her in the hallway!

Alan McLachlan, Staff Writer
Alan is a Grade 12 student at St. George's School and is delighted to be writing for The Echo. Alan has immersed himself in everything that St. George's School has to offer. Diving into both the athletics and arts departments at the school, Alan plays on the 2nd XI Soccer, Water Polo, and Tennis teams, while also being involved in both the Senior Concert and Jazz bands. Alan has a passion for farming and agriculture, spending the majority of the time in his summers working on his great-uncle's and his aunt's farms. In his spare time, Alan can be seen playing sports, spending time with friends, or playing foosball in the Lower Great Hall.

Liam is a senior at St. George’s School and has been a student here for seven years. He is passionate about writing and English and is thrilled to be a part of Journalism this year! Liam is very active in the arts around the school and can often be found around the theatre. He has done several plays in his time at Saints, ranging from Les Misérables to the Wizard of Oz. He is also a dedicated member of student government as the Arts Prefect. Outside of school, Liam enjoys acting, reading, and spending quality time with friends.
